The Mission Club

The Lompoc Class of ’86 – 40th reunion – will be held at the Mission Club, on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
The Mission Club, nestled in the gentle rolling hills of Lompoc, CA, offers breathtaking views of a picturesque golf course. With it’s stately and mature oaks and pines, and a cozy restaurant atmosphere, it is the perfect venue to have our special gathering. With in-house catering, a full bar, and a romantic gazebo, it’s accessible location and outdoor amenities welcome all.

TO WELCOME EVERYONE who was a part of the amazing class of 1986! We genuinely want you to come and to have a wonderful time. Many of us have fond memories of the 1980’s, and we were a special class. We all know ’86 kicks, right?
We assure you, this will also be a memorable reunion on August 22, 2026.

Lompoc High School Tour
No RSVP, Friday, August 21, 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm
LHS football games…Friday night dances…Mr. Paisola…Mr. Clevenger’s lethal squirt bottle…the driver training trailer…FFA…letter jackets…The Smoke Signal…ASB…Taco Bell…CSF…sports…concert choir….Madrigals…assemblies…band…short/tall flags…cheer…prom….homecoming….the Alma Mater… and the list goes on. Paul Bommersbach will facilitate a nostalgic “LHS Campus Tour” to re-live the memories on 8/21/26 from 4:30 until 5:30. You can skip it, but wouldn’t it be fun?! Following the “LHS Campus Tour”, 86er’s are invited to embark on delicious libations at Longoria Wines. The location is the historical JM Club building. You remember cruises down H and Ocean and then staying waaaay too late at that club on Friday nights? Our little secret…. ;0)! Come to one event, come to both, come to none. It’s totally up to you, but you are welcome with open arms

Longoria Winery

Longoria Winery was established in 1982 with the goal of crafting artisanal wines sourced from the finest vineyards across Santa Barbara County. In 2022, the winery was purchased by Brooke and Lindsey Christian. The couple has continued the winery’s legacy of excellence, and it currently operates as a family-owned establishment in the historic (and renovated) historical J.M. Club building.
Winemaker, Eric Wilson, and General Manager, Brent Wilson, both Lompoc natives, have invited us to have our Class of 1986 Friday night optional gathering from 6:00-8:00 pm at their venue. Please consider coming by that evening to enjoy a glass of wine and to re-connect with LHS classmates.
The event at Longoria Winery will start after the optional “Lompoc High School Stroll Down Memory Lane,” hosted at LHS at 4:30 pm by Paul Bommersbach of the Class of 1986! (and former LHS principal!)

In honor of our hosting this event at their venue, Eric and Brent have also generously offered to create a Lompoc Braves themed wine menu with “Reunion Special” prices for select wines by the glass and bottle. Light food appetizers will be offered to attendees, and there will also be one or more food trucks available for food purchases during the event. Food may also be brought in by attendees, if desired.
Please note-this optional event fee is waived ONLY if a reunion ticket has been purchased. All wine tasting, glasses of wine, and wine bottles purchases at this event are the sole financial responsibility of the attendee.

Lompoc High Class of ’86 & friends, Join us for a leisurely stroll through the historic grounds of the La Purisima Mission Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 10 am to noon. Enjoy a gentle walk through the historical grounds of the mission that we all know and love, perfect for catching up, sharing laughs, and reminiscing about those school days. All are welcome—bring family, friends, or come solo. No RSVP needed; just show up and see old friends while soaking in the mission’s charm. Can’t wait to see you all!
